About Soma Flo Wellness

Hi! My name is Tatum...

I’m a registered massage therapist and a current student of Manual Osteopathic Therapy (graduating Feb 2025).

I'm currently offering student-rate treatments as an affordable option for those who want to experience Osteopathy while I continue to deepen my skills.

I'm most passionate about fascia (the web of connective tissue throughout our body) and considering the role of the nervous system in our physical restrictions and pains.

What is Manual Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a gentle hands-on approach that is unique for every body. Instead of only treating the area that hurts, we look at your body as a whole to find the root causes of tension, pain, or restricted movement.
Services
Therapeutic Myofascial Massage
A focused, intentional therapeutic massage designed to release tension and improve mobility without relying on deep pressure. This treatment targets fascia (the connective tissue that supports your muscles and movement) to reduce discomfort, restore ease, and help you move better.
Ideal for: chronic tension, movement restrictions, and stress relief.
60 or 90 minutes

Gentle Myofascial Release Session (Clothed)
A fully clothed fascia-focused session to unwind and reconnect with your body The goal is a relaxed nervous system, deep tension relief, improved circulation, and a boost in your body’s natural healing process.
Your fascia is a web-like tissue that surrounds everything in your body. When healthy, it moves fluidly — and that fluidity = movement that feels good and free. When your body goes through stress, injury, surgery, repetitive strain, or dehydration, your fascia can begin to thicken and stick together. Less glide in the tissues = more pain. This process is called fascial densification. And that densification can trap nerves, limit movement, and create tension, stiffness, or pain.
Long fascia holds help to:
*Encourage hydration and fluid flow to restore that glide
*Help tissue reorganize and soften - reducing that densification
*Calm the nervous system (via mechanoreceptors in the fascia)
*Shift you out of fight-or-flight and into rest, repair, and reconnection
Ideal for: chronic tension, stubborn tightness, stress relief, sleep support, nervous system regulation, and recovery.
60 or 90 minutes

Dynamic Myofascial Cupping Therapy
This treatment combines traditional cupping with movement techniques to target fascial restrictions, improve circulation, and restore mobility. Cups are gently glided and held while the body moves, helping release tension in a unique and effective way.
Ideal for: postural tension, stiffness, fascia release, scar tissue restrictions, circulation support, chronic tension and stubborn muscle tightness.
60 or 90 minutes

Non-Billable Student Services:
These sessions are part of my ongoing Manual Osteopathic Therapy training. They are not billable to insurance but are offered at a reduced rate for hands-on practice.

FASCIA + FLO MASSAGE THERAPY
A 2-Hour Massage Session for a Fascial and Nervous System Reset
This is more than just a massage.
Fascia + Flo is a unique 2-hour session designed to help you soften, shift, and reconnect — especially if you feel stuck in your head, tense in your body, or just… off.
This session blends slow, still fascial work (5-10 minute holds) and massage throughout. The result is deep tension relief, improved circulation, and a boost in your body’s natural healing process.

You’ll experience:
-
Long, still fascial holds that invite tissue to release layer by layer — think: the yin yoga of massage
-
Flowing massage techniques to support integration, circulation, and relief
-
A feeling of calm and lightness as your nervous system unwinds
This session helps your nervous system shift out of “fight or flight” and into a parasympathetic state (rest, digest, repair). You may leave feeling light, grounded, calm, and deeply present.

SOMA FLO MASSAGE
LIFT + FLO
Fascia-Focused Therapy
Dynamic Cupping & Massage
(60m • 90m • 120m)
(60m • 90m • 120m)
Relieve tension, improve circulation, and support the body’s natural healing process. My approach is subtle and intuitive, and focuses on calming the nervous system. Sustained, light holds are used to engage the body’s fascial and nervous systems. Unlike deep pressure, which can sometimes cause guarding, this approach helps the body unwind tension from the inside out — often reaching patterns that were created years ago. It can be deeply calming, and long-lasting.
Dynamic cupping combines traditional cupping with movement-based techniques to help release tight fascia, improve mobility, and reduce muscle tension. Vacuum cups are applied to the skin, then moved or glided along the tissue to create a lifting and decompressing effect. This technique is especially helpful for stubborn tension, postural strain, or enhancing recovery after activity — and can be comfortably incorporated into a massage session.
FREE STUDENT MANUAL OSTEOPATHIC THERAPY
As part of my training in Manual Osteopathic Therapy, I will be offering complimentary practice sessions to support my learning and skill development. These sessions involve in-depth assessment and gentle, non-invasive techniques. Many people find this work deeply calming and restorative. Sessions are offered in a safe, respectful environment, with clear communication and consent throughout. Please note: This is a non-billable service. Sessions are for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional care.

60, 90, or 120 Minute Sessions
This one is for you if you love dynamic cupping and want that to be the focus of your session. We will still blend massage therapy throughout but the focus will be on the cups!

What is Manual Osteopathy?
Manual osteopathy is a hands-on, whole-body approach to healthcare. Unlike traditional treatments that focus only on the area that hurts, osteopathy looks at your body as a connected system. The goal is to identify and address the root causes of tension, pain, and movement restrictions—helping your body function better as a whole.

Here’s what osteopathic work entails:

Whole-Body Approach
We don’t just treat the symptom—you’re more than the part that hurts.
Example: If you come in with shoulder pain, we may also assess your knee, hip, or even digestive system, because your body works as a complete, interconnected system.
In-Depth Assessment & History
Every session begins with a detailed intake of your health history, posture, stress levels, past injuries, and daily habits. This helps us understand the bigger picture, so treatment is tailored specifically to you.
Gentle Techniques That Reset Your System
Osteopathy uses subtle, hands-on techniques that may feel “light” or gentle—but create meaningful shifts in your body. The goal is to calm your nervous system and allow your body to reorganize and heal itself naturally.
Works With More Than Muscles
Osteopathy addresses muscles, joints, fascia, connective tissue, fluids, and even organs. This broad approach can relieve tension and improve mobility in ways that focusing on a single area often cannot.
Considering Stress & Emotional Health
Because stress and life pressures affect your body, we include nervous system and stress-related considerations in treatment. Addressing these can help reduce pain and support overall wellbeing.
Working With Your Body, Not Against It
Unlike deep tissue massage or forceful adjustments, osteopathy gently guides the body back into balance, supporting natural movement rather than forcing it.
Listening & Caring at a Deeper Level
Your pain is real, and it matters. We take the time to listen, understand your experience, and uncover the root cause—so you feel truly heard and supported, not brushed off.

What is Dynamic Cupping?
Dynamic cupping is a therapeutic technique that blends traditional cupping with movement. Instead of leaving cups stationary, the practitioner glides or moves the cups across the skin, creating a lifting effect that helps loosen fascia, improve circulation, and release muscle tension. The movement allows for deeper fascial work without excessive pressure, making it especially useful for areas that feel tight, restricted, or overworked.
